My data isn’t recording correctly, what can I do?
Sorry that you’re having trouble with your connected apps! Some troubleshooting steps you can take are:
- If you have just connected, please allow up to 24 hours for your data to start syncing
- Make sure the Glean app is on the latest version
- Ensure that the correct apps are set to sync the desired information in the Connected App Settings
- Disconnect and reconnect from the connected app in question
- Delete and reinstall the Glean app
- Ensure all permissions are correctly approved on the Connected App in question so that Glean can access the necessary data
If in the Connected App Settings you have an app set to track your calories, protein or steps, this will overwrite any manual entries made on the dashboard. Therefore we would recommend adding any data on the external app in question, and allow this to sync to Glean.
For example, if you have MyFitnessPal connected to your Glean account and set as your nutrition source, make sure to add any calories on the MyFitnessPal app, rather than a mix of on there and on the Glean app.
How can I update my targets on the app for calories, steps etc?
We recommend only changing targets if your circumstances have changed since you answered all the questions when you joined the Glean App. For example if your activity levels has changed significantly, then it might be worth changing the calories. For any questions regarding your targets please do feel free to contact us on appsupport@gleanapp.com. We will happily review your targets and help you get on the right path.
You can easily adjust your targets such as calories, protein and steps on the Glean App. To do so, just follow these steps:
1. Go to your Dashboard (bottom left corner)
2. Scroll down to the goal you want to change (ex. calories)
3. Click the arrow in the top right corner
4. Select Edit Goal
5. Enter your desired Calorie Target
6. Click Save
Your new target will then be set!
How can I edit tracking from a previous day on the app?
In order to adjust your tracking from a previous day, you can follow these steps:
- Navigate to your Dashboard in the bottom left corner
- On the measurement you want to adjust, select the Arrow in the top right corner of the relevant box (Calories, Protein etc)
- From here, select the Edit Week button in green
- Adjust each value as needed
- If you need to adjust from a previous week, simply go back to the previous week with the arrows listed beside the dates
Please note:
If you’ve chosen an app in your Connected App Settings to track calories, protein, or steps, that data will automatically overwrite anything you enter manually on your Glean dashboard. For the smoothest experience, we recommend adding your information directly into the connected app and letting it sync with Glean.
For example, if you have MyFitnessPal linked as your nutrition source, be sure to log your calories in MyFitnessPal only, rather than splitting entries between there and the Glean app.
I do training outside of Glean, how do I record it?
Start by navigating to the Workouts section in the app. Then, tap the Workout ➕ button and select the workout type you want to add to your completed workouts.
On top of that, each week when you do your weekly check-in, we will ask if you have completed any workouts outside of those included in the Glean program. Here you can also list any extra training that you have done.
I prefer Follow Along Workouts, how do I access those?
We have dozens of follow along workouts available in the Portal section of the Glean app, in the folder titled Workout Library, followed by a folder called Follow Along Workouts. Each week you’ll find a new upper body, lower body, and dance workout to enjoy.
You can also find Pilates workouts in the Portal with new videos being added every week.
